In the weekend of 28 and 29 September, 6 realist artists will exhibit their work in the church of Persingen (near Nijmegen, Holland).
Ralf Heynen and Jos van Riswick both belong the the group of Nijmegen Realists and paint their models in a traditional style leaning toward the 19th century. Paul Boswijk and Ben Rikken are members of the dutch 'Northern Realist' movement. Paul is well known for the licht effects in his paintings, and Ben is a skilled draughtsman. Gera Zoet is an artist from Apeldoorn, painting mainly in grey tones. The well known Nijmegen artist Diederik Grootjans will present several model studies.
On Sunday 29 September at 4pm there will be a short performance of the Tussenkoor choir, with music by Edward Elgar and others
